European Hormone Day: 15 May 2023

EASO supports colleagues at the European Society for Endocrinology and across the endocrinology community in this important campaign for European Hormone Day. This is the second dedicated hormone awareness day organised by the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE) and European Hormone and Metabolism Foundation (ESE Foundation). European Hormone Day is on 15 May 2023 and kicks off a year of awareness raising activities.

The aim of this effort is to bring together the European endocrine community to raise awareness of the significant role of hormones in preventing and treating disease and promoting good health.

Many citizens have a basic idea of what hormones are but do not fully understand just how important they are for overall health and wellbeing. EASO joins colleagues across the community in raising awareness of the significant role of hormones in preventing and treating disease and promoting good health — and of the importance of addressing hormone disruptors in our environments.
