Calling early career obesity researchers! If you are interested in publishing your research findings, you are warmly invited to join the next EASO Early Career Network (ECN) eLearning Hub event, “Publishing Research in Obesity Journals”.
This online event will be led by Professor David Stensel, Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Obesity (IJO), Professor of Exercise Metabolism in both the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences at Loughborough University, UK and the Faculty of Sport Sciences at Waseda University, Japan. In this one-hour session, members of the ECN will receive expert guidance on scientific writing for high-impact obesity journals and gain insight into publication processes – key learnings aimed at enhancing research on obesity.
Audience members can expect to learn about:
- Strategies for publishing impactful scientific manuscripts accepted by high-impact obesity journals
- The research publication process, from manuscript preparation to peer review and revision
- Practical tips to avoid common pitfalls and enhance manuscript quality
- Providing effective reviewer comments to enhance contributions to the field of obesity
