Dr Romano is a researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London, to the EASO Early Career Network (ECN) Board
Her research explores the relationship between mental health, multimorbidity, and health inequalities, with a special interest on stigma and obesity.

Jack is a research associate in the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Behavioural and Social Sciences at Newcastle University in the UK.
His research is focussed on the the impact of health inequalities on obesity.

Meet Dr Marije Galavazi, COM Lead from Sweden
Dr Galavazi leads a team of five clinical professionals, including two psychologists, a physiotherapist, a dietitian, and a specialist research nurse at the Obesity Unit Örebro, Överviktsenheten, at the University Hospital Örebro in Sweden.
The entire team is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients with obesity.
Meet Prof Dr Anne Rochtus, COMs co-lead, University Hospital Leuven, Belgium
Dr Anne Rochtus works alongside Dr An Jacobs and Prof Dr Kristina Casteels all paediatric endocrinologists, dedicated to advancing paediatric obesity care.
Their patient care philosophy is centred on promoting sustainable lifestyle changes for long-term health.
Meet Professor David Jacobi, lead of the Adult COM Centre Spécialisé de l’Obésité Ouest Atlantique, France
This COM team believes that effective obesity management requires a comprehensive and multidisciplinary strategy tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
