Exciting Opportunities Open to EASO Early Career Network Members!

The EASO ECN Board is pleased to announce additional funding and award opportunities designed to enhance the professional development and recognition of early career colleagues across the field of obesity.

In addition to the EASO – Novo Nordisk Foundation New Investigator Award Opportunities several other opportunities are available to early career colleagues.

EASO Travel Grants for ECO2025

EASO will offer a limited number of travel grants to accepted abstract presenters for ECO2025. Each grant includes complimentary registration for successful applicants and €500 towards travel and accommodation. These grants are intended for researchers who would otherwise be unable to attend the congress for financial reasons.

EASO ECN Development Fund Travel Grant

ECN members are invited to apply for one of 25 travel grants of €1000 each to support attendance at relevant professional meetings, national events, conferences, and more. This grant is intended to facilitate research presentations at conferences, professional development and training, and attendance at EASO COMs Summits. EASO ECN Best Thesis Award 2025

Applications are now open for the EASO ECN Best Thesis Award, which will be presented at the ECO2025 in Malaga, Spain. This award celebrates early career researchers and offers an opportunity to gain international recognition for doctoral contributions to the field of obesity. ECN members should submit an application to the Best Thesis Award by 12th January 2025. Find more details about the Best Thesis Award and how to apply here.
