Weight stigma is prevalent in obesity health care. You are welcome to submit your work related to this theme to EClinicalMedicine, which is looking for high-quality papers to be considered as part of a virtual collection which highlight the impact of weight stigma and discrimination in health care, and how health-care policy, interventions, and services can lead to stigmatising practices.
The journal also welcomes submissions that explore interventions to address weight stigma, which could for instance, focus on health care or service delivery, practitioners, or patient or public groups. The call also encourages submissions that explore the use of personalised approaches to health care, innovations in health-care delivery or technologies, development and impact of weight inclusive environments, and training for health-care professionals.
