Join the April EASO ECN eLearning Hub webinar on Ultra-Processed Food

Members of the EASO Early Career Network (ECN) are warmly invited to join the next eLearning Hub event, ‘Unpacking Ultra-Processed Food (UPF)’.

Ultra-processed foods (UPFs) have become a central focus in discussions on public health due to their widespread consumption and potential effects on health. This webinar will explore various aspects of UPF consumption, including its socioeconomic patterns, classification systems like Nova, the impact on healthcare costs, and the emerging body of research on the health risks associated with UPFs. Expert speakers will also discuss marketing strategies used to promote UPFs and examine potential policy approaches to mitigate their consumption.
