The European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) is pleased to participate in the 2026 International Congress on Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome (ICOMES 2026), hosted by the Korean Society for the Study of Obesity (KSSO) from 3–5 September 2026 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
The 2026 ICOMES theme, “Shaping the Future of Obesity Care: Innovative Science & Optimal Treatment,” will bring together leading international experts to explore the latest advances in obesity science, clinical care, precision medicine and innovative therapeutic approaches.
The scientific programme features internationally renowned speakers including EASO president-elect Dr Jennifer Baker, Professor Susanne Mandrup, Professor Samuel Klein, Professor Vanita R. Aroda and Professor Kohjiro Ueki, alongside distinguished experts from Korea and across the world.
EASO looks forward to participating in the congress, contributing to international scientific exchange, and strengthening collaboration between Europe, Korea and the wider global obesity community.
