This webinar will explore the role of obesity phenotypes in shaping personalised obesity management. Expert speakers will discuss scientific advancements in obesity classification by phenotypes and practical strategies for tailoring treatments to individual phenotypes to improve patient outcomes.
First, delegates will gain insights into the limitations of BMI and the need for more sophisticated classification systems, along with an overview of emerging phenotyping methods such as genetic, metabolic, and body composition analyses. Next, the webinar will explore how phenotype-based approaches can inform personalised management plans. Challenges and opportunities for implementing personalised obesity management will also be discussed, drawing on recent research into cardiometabolic disease and MASLD subclassification.
