Are you an early career obesity professional in the UK? The EASO National Association in the UK, the Association for the Study of Obesity (ASO), hosts an event for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) ahead of the UK Congress on Obesity (UKCO) in Belfast in September 2023.
ASO has an exciting programme planned, including workshops on transferrable skills (such as paper writing/getting published), Patient and Public Involvement (with two speakers with lived experience), and career progression talks from a wide range of sectors to provide a comprehensive overview of different career trajectories in the field of obesity. This event is free for members of ASO and includes two nights’ accommodation. Lunch, tea and coffee will be provided.

To be eligible to register, you will need to:

- Be registered for the UK Congress on Obesity (UKCO) 2023
- Be able to attend the event in-person
