An important new global study has been launched, surveying awareness, care and treatment of adolescents living with obesity, their caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
EASO President, Professor Jason Halford, one of the principal investigators, said “Through ACTION Teens, we provide a crucial focus on adolescent health and care. This is an often neglected area of research and improvement in clinical practices. The ACTION Teens study is the largest of its type and will provide us with valuable insights into the lived experience of adolescents with obesity and their caregivers, and the challenges they and their HCPs face, globally. I am delighted to be working on ACTION Teens with a talented group of international scientists and clinicians.”
