The paper, which follows on from the new EASO Framework for the Diagnosis, Staging and Management of Obesity in adults, aligns with the concept of obesity as an adiposity-based chronic disease (ABCD).

2026 OBESITY PRIZE FOR EXCELLENCE AND NEW INVESTIGATOR AWARDS TO CONTINUE

EASO COMs Summit 2025

The EASO COMs Summit 2025, in collaboration with AFERO, brings together multidisciplinary clinical teams from accredited Collaborating Centres for Obesity Management (COMs) across Europe.

The Programme will feature expert-led sessions, patient perspectives, real-world clinical case discussions, treatment strategy updates, and opportunities for engagement tailored to teams working in adult and paediatric obesity management settings.
