A new EASO Position Statement published in The Lancet Regional Health – Europe this month, Integrating incretin-based therapies into comprehensive obesity care: an EASO position statement argues that the scientific and therapeutic advances represented by medicications including semaglutide and tirzepatide, have progressed faster than many health systems’ ability to deliver access to these obesity management tools effectively, equitably and sustainably. To address this EASO has developed a new incretin-based therapies integration framework.
