On 4 November 2026, Goethe University Frankfurt will host the scientific symposium “Rethinking Obesity and Mental Health – From Brain Science to Clinical Practice” as part of the Friedrich Merz Foundation Visiting Professorship.
The symposium will explore the connections between obesity, the brain and mental health, bringing together current findings from brain science with perspectives from clinical practice. We are pleased to welcome Prof. Dana Small (McGill University, Canada) as our keynote speaker.
