The World Obesity Federation invites EASO colleagues to attend the International Congress on Obesity (ICO) 2026, taking place in Mexico City, Mexico from 15–17 July 2026.
Held in collaboration with the Society of Mexican Obesity, the Congress will showcase the latest research across all areas of obesity, alongside innovative approaches to treatment and prevention, and insights from leading experts in the field.
The programme features oral and poster presentations, an exhibition, and sessions spanning Clinical, Basic Science, and Public Health. It also offers a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues, foster international collaboration, and contribute to global efforts to reduce the burden of obesity.
ICO 2026 will be delivered in both Spanish and English, with translation provided. Registration includes access to all sessions, the exhibition, and the Welcome & Networking Reception.
European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) Symposium
EASO will host a symposium titled Changing Perspectives: Different Approaches to Obesity Diagnosis, Treatment and Targets on Monday, 15 July 2026.
The session will feature Dror Dicker, Andreea Ciudin Mihai, and Arya Sharma, and will be moderated by Volkan Demirhan Yumuk and Bruno Halpern.
