The EASO COMs Network invites you to the next community webinar, centred on recent EASO publications shaping clinical obesity care, “The 2025 EASO Algorithm for the Management of Obesity” on Tuesday 24 February 2025, 12:30-13:30 CET.
Authors of the 2025 EASO Algorithm and EASO Working Group co-chairs will discuss the EASO Framework for the Diagnosis, Staging and Management of Obesity in Adults, followed by the 2025 EASO Algorithm for the Management of Obesity and Complications, recently published in Nature Medicine. The algorithm supports clinicians in personalising obesity treatment within the context of obesity as an adiposity-based chronic disease (ABCD).
Delegates will learn about:
- The EASO Framework for Diagnosis, Staging and Management, including definitions, clinical targets, and its role in guiding obesity management
- How the framework underpins the structure and intent of the EASO Algorithm
- The scope and rationale of the 2025 edition of the EASO algorithm
- Practical considerations for applying the framework and algorithm in clinical practice
