EASO was pleased to join with colleagues from ESPEN this week for SOGLI – the Sarcopenic Obesity Global Leadership Initiative in Rome at Sapienza University.
On November 27th-28th 2025, The Research Unit in Food Science and Human Nutrition of the University of Rome “Sapienza” is hosting the Fourth Edition of the Sarcopenic Obesity Global Initiative (Saples) Event. This is an Espen (European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism) initiative and is endorsed by EASO (European Association for the Study of Obesity).
EASO president Volkan Yumuk chaired, and colleagues Mette Svendsen, and Lorenzo Donini, co-chairs of the EASO SO3A Working Group, along with Professors Gema Fruhbeck Dror Dicker and Luca Busetto were faculty joining this important ESPEN event.
