The 12th ESE Young Endocrinologists and Scientists (EYES) Meeting, held 26-28 September 2025 in Milan, Italy, was an important event for early career professionals in endocrinology. With more than 200 participants from across Europe, the meeting provided a valuable platform for scientific exchange, career development, and networking.
The programme featured contributions from leading experts including Professors Constantine Stratakis, Sadaf Farooqi, Roberto Vettor, and Guillaume Assiè. Alongside plenary sessions, participants benefited from interactive discussions and informal networking opportunities, which supported the exchange of knowledge and advice on career progression and research development.
The EASO Early Career Network (ECN) was pleased to contribute to this initiative. ECN Board Member Dr Georgia Colleluori supported the organisation and delivery of the meeting, and the ECN Development Fund offered assistance for eligible members to attend.
The EASO ECN thanks the ESE Young Endocrinologists and Scientists group for this collaboration. The network recognises the importance of early career professionals working together across disciplines and research areas to advance knowledge and develop future research. Supporting cross-collaboration between obesity and endocrinology offers opportunities for joint education, research, and mentorship, and will help build sustainable networks for the future.
