EASO COMs Summit, 24-25 September 2026 – Potsdam, Germany
The COMs Summit is open to clinical teams from accredited adult, paediatric, and affiliated EASO COMs across Europe and beyond, combining cross-disciplinary exchange with focused topic sessions and real-world clinical case discussions. It will be held in collaboration with the German Obesity Society (DAG), alongside the DAG Obesity Congress 2026.
Aims of the Summit
- Share research, emerging evidence, and evolving practice across the COMs network
- Identify opportunities to strengthen obesity management research and service delivery
- Strengthen collaboration between accredited centres
- Support capacity building within multidisciplinary obesity care teams
- Enhance professional networking and structured knowledge exchange
- Improve outcomes and care experiences for people living with obesity
Programme – Call for Submissions
We invite COMs members to submit case studies or abstracts for presentation and discussion during the Programme. Submissions will be reviewed by the EASO COMs Working Group for inclusion in the Summit programme. Submission deadline: Friday 24th July, 2026.

The Summit Programme will be delivered from 09.00 on the 24th September and close at 16.00 on 25th September. The full programme will be available soon.
Registration
Registration and attendance is complimentary and open only to clinical teams from accredited adult, paediatric, and affiliated EASO COMs across Europe and beyond. If you are not a member of an accredited EASO COMs your registration will not be accepted.

Accommodation
Two nights complimentary hotel accommodation will be offered on the 23rd & 24th of September. This is on a first come first serve basis for up to 2 persons from each COM. Hotel details will follow shortly.
Meeting Venue
The COMs Summit will take place at the University of Potsdam, Griebnitzsee Campus. Further details to follow.
The DAG Obesity Congress will cover comprehensive pharmacological, behavioural and surgical obesity treatment strategies, current prevention approaches, and the translation of basic science into clinical practice. All sessions will be delivered with simultaneous German-English translation. COMs colleagues are encouraged to participate. Find out more about the DAG Obesity Congress 2026.
