The Icelandic Society of Obesity Research and Prevention is pleased to announce that they will host the next Nordic Obesity Meeting in Reykjavík, Iceland, on 21–22 October 2027. Our Icelandic colleagues have alerted us to several unofficial websites promoting the meeting, which may cause confusion among prospective participants. We encourage colleagues interested in participating in NOM to exercise caution and ensure that they obtain event information and registration details only through official channels.
Organisers are currently developing the official meeting website, www.nordicobesity.com, with registration scheduled to open in January 2027. Further information about the scientific programme, registration and meeting arrangements will also be shared on the EASO website when details become available. We look forward to supporting our Icelandic colleagues and welcoming the European obesity community to Reykjavík in October 2027.
