Opportunity for trainers and educators interested in hydration

The EASO nutrition Working Group, together with colleagues from the European Federation of Associations of Dietitians (EFAD), is seeking colleagues to deliver hydration related training as part of EASO teaching courses, training schools and webinars.

EASO will support interested colleagues with specific ‘train the trainer’ style training, and will provide toolkits and education resources on healthy hydration which can be useful in a variety of settings and in your daily clinical practice.

It is anticipated that you will help to deliver up to 3 short courses on hydration per year, within the following course structures:

  • EASO National training courses
  • Train the Trainer Schools
  • EASO Obesity Management Task Force (OMTF) OMTF and Childhood Obesity Task Force (COTF)
  • National Courses
  • New Investigators United (NIU) School for early career professionals
  • The Hydration for Health (H4H) Academy

The aim of this initiative is to increase the impact of hydration related training. Using your expertise, you will contribute to defining course learning objectives, impact assessments and programme content, and will deliver training in conjunction with a faculty of European experts. you should have experience in the management or prevention of obesity and in developing and /or implementing training programmes. ideally you should have an interest in nutrition and healthy hydration.

Timeframe:

Training will be held remotely mid-February in short format sessions (2 or 3 sessions of 90 to 120 minutes). An introductory session will take place during the 3rd week of January.
