The scientific programme explored key developments in obesity research, including cardiometabolic complications, adipose tissue biology, women\u2019s reproductive health, gut hormones and the wider effects of incretin based therapies..<\/p>\n<p>A preceding educational day, focused on Precision Obesity Management \u2013 From Obesity Phenotypes to Personalised Care, highlighted the importance of understanding the biological and clinical diversity of obesity in supporting more personalised, evidence-based care.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also celebrated excellence in Danish obesity research, recognising Professor Signe S\u00f8rensen Torekov and Assistant Professor L\u00e6rke Smidt Gasbjerg through the DASO\u2013Novo Nordisk Foundation research awards.
