Ses recherches portent sur le d\u00e9veloppement d'interventions \u00e9volutives et rentables pouvant \u00eatre int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans les soins de sant\u00e9 courants afin d'am\u00e9liorer le traitement de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 et de soutenir la pr\u00e9vention tertiaire des troubles li\u00e9s au poids. Elle s'int\u00e9resse particuli\u00e8rement aux approches de m\u00e9decine de pr\u00e9cision qui adaptent les interventions aux caract\u00e9ristiques individuelles, en mettant l'accent sur les traits psycho-comportementaux comme cibles de personnalisation.<\/p>\n<p>Laura a obtenu son doctorat en sciences m\u00e9dicales \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 de Cambridge (2025), o\u00f9 elle a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l'influence des comportements alimentaires sur l'efficacit\u00e9 des interventions de gestion du poids bas\u00e9es sur la th\u00e9rapie d'acceptation et d'engagement. Elle est \u00e9galement titulaire d'un master en psychologie de la sant\u00e9 de l'University College London et d'une licence en psychologie de l'universit\u00e9 de Maastricht.<\/p>\n<p>Ses travaux actuels portent sur la prise en charge de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 en Allemagne, avec une attention particuli\u00e8re pour la gestion int\u00e9gr\u00e9e du poids corporel et de la sant\u00e9 mentale. Au-del\u00e0 de ses recherches, Laura s'engage \u00e0 combler le foss\u00e9 entre les preuves scientifiques et la pratique clinique et \u00e0 promouvoir l'engagement et la participation des patients et du public.
