Sa th\u00e8se de doctorat sur les \u2018 environnements ob\u00e9sog\u00e8nes \u2019 l'a amen\u00e9e \u00e0 poursuivre ses recherches sur les environnements alimentaires et leur influence sur la consommation alimentaire et la sant\u00e9. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 plusieurs subventions personnelles et collectives, Joreintje a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 le r\u00f4le des prix des aliments, de l'acc\u00e8s g\u00e9ographique \u00e0 la nourriture et du marketing alimentaire sur la sant\u00e9 des choix alimentaires, ainsi que l'efficacit\u00e9 des interventions incitatives et tarifaires.
