Ce processus a mobilis\u00e9 54 experts multidisciplinaires dans 12 pays et a inclus deux groupes de discussion diversifi\u00e9s issus du grand public.<\/p>\n<p>Une caract\u00e9ristique d\u00e9terminante du projet \u00e9tait l'int\u00e9gration significative de la participation et de l'engagement des patients et du public (PPIE). Un conseiller en mati\u00e8re de consensus PPIE \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sent tout au long des r\u00e9unions d'experts, veillant \u00e0 ce que les opinions du public influencent le d\u00e9veloppement et les r\u00e9sultats de l'\u00e9tude. En effectuant une analyse spatiale \u00e0 partir de donn\u00e9es publiques sur l'emplacement des points de vente de plats \u00e0 emporter et en les reliant aux donn\u00e9es sur la pr\u00e9valence de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 infantile issues du National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP), elle a mis en \u00e9vidence un lien clair entre la concentration des points de vente de restauration rapide autour des \u00e9coles et la pr\u00e9valence de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 infantile.<\/p>\n<p>Ses recherches ont une incidence directe sur l'urbanisme et les politiques de sant\u00e9 publique.
