L'Association europ\u00e9enne pour l'\u00e9tude de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 a publi\u00e9 un nouvel article important dans Nature Medicine, qui pr\u00e9sente un cadre actualis\u00e9 pour le diagnostic, la stadification et la prise en charge de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 chez les adultes, en mettant l'accent sur la compr\u00e9hension de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 comme une maladie chronique li\u00e9e \u00e0 l'adiposit\u00e9. Ce cadre met l'accent sur des strat\u00e9gies d'\u00e9valuation et de prise en charge compl\u00e8tes et personnalis\u00e9es, dans le but d'am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Notre nouveau cadre vise \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la prise en charge de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 en l'alignant sur les approches th\u00e9rapeutiques globales et personnalis\u00e9es utilis\u00e9es pour d'autres maladies chroniques non transmissibles (MNT).<\/p>\n

Dans le cadre de nos efforts pour nous aligner sur le cadre actualis\u00e9 de l'EASO concernant le diagnostic, la classification et la prise en charge clinique de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9, nous avons d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une nouvelle infographie mettant en \u00e9vidence les divers impacts de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 sur la sant\u00e9. \u201c Afin d'inspirer un changement dans la mani\u00e8re dont l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 est diagnostiqu\u00e9e et prise en charge par les cliniciens et comprise par les parties prenantes concern\u00e9es, l'EASO a r\u00e9dig\u00e9 ce commentaire, proposant un nouveau cadre pour le diagnostic, la stadification et la prise en charge de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 chez les adultes. Nous pensons que ce travail, associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des initiatives similaires, peut contribuer \u00e0 orienter la prise en charge de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 vers une approche plus conforme au concept de l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 en tant que maladie chronique. \u201d<\/em> a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le professeur Luca Busetto, auteur principal.<\/p>\n
