EASO was pleased to participate in ObesityWeek 2019 in Nevada. OW2019 is the largest obesity focused scientific and clinical meeting globally and presented an opportunity for members of the EASO Executive Council to connect and collaborate with colleagues in The Obesity Society and around the world.
This year, the event combined both the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and with The Obesity Society. This term the international conference focused on diabetes. EASO was pleased to lead in symposia and chair scientific sessions as well as presenting in OW2019 sessions.
EASO hosted a booth at the conference where we were able to meet with colleagues, promote the upcoming ECOICO2020 in Dublin, and discuss, share information and promote the work of some of our European projects, including NoHoW http://nohow.eu, PROTEIN, https://protein-h2020.eu and SWEET https://sweetproject.eu.
