We are pleased to announce the 2018 EASO New Investigators United Autumn School. This residential educational course is open to early career researcher/practitioners and will take place in Palma, Mallorca from 1-3 October 2018.

The programme for 2018 will focus on ‘Hot Topics in Obesity’ with sessions addressing the key issues in research, treatment and public health. Teaching will be delivered by European experts and will include both lectures and practical training. Upon completion of the course, participants will have a thorough grounding in obesity and will learn new skills to develop their research or clinical practice.

Physiopathology/Mechanisms

  • Fat mass regulation
  • Adipose tissue browning/ Brown adipose tissue in humans
  • Gut microbiota
  • Liver hepatokines in insulin resistance

Obesity Management

EASO is pleased to offer 30 places for this prestigious course. There is no registration fee and EASO will provide hotel accommodation and all meals for successful applicants.
