Björntorp Symposium

The Björntorp Symposia are EASO’s highest level educational meetings – a series of small, focussed workshops.  Held annually, the Symposia are designed to give an opportunity for younger researchers to enhance their knowledge and promote their career through intense, in-depth scientific exchange with experienced world leading scientists. For each symposium, a ‘hot topic’ of great scientific interest is selected, and the entire symposium focuses on various aspects of this particular topic. Topics cover basic, clinical and public health sciences, and where relevant translational science.  Programmes feature the world’s leading experts in Obesity Research.
